The Social Vilâge Book Club is a curated social club for readers in Rotterdam who value depth, connection, and conversation.
Across three months November, December and January our first Reading Cycle invites you to slow down, read with intention, and connect with others who love ideas as much as they love people.

The Reading Cycle

Month 1 – November: The Beginning
Meet your fellow readers, get introduced to the rhythm of the Book Club, and together select the book we’ll explore this cycle. Expect meaningful introductions and a sense of belonging that lasts beyond the page.

Month 2 – December: The Deep Dive
Before the holiday season, we meet again to discuss the first half of the book. You’ll exchange perspectives, explore themes, and connect through conversation that challenges and inspires.

Month 3 – January: The Reflection
We finish the book and gather for a final evening of reflection — closing the story and preparing for the next Reading Cycle in the new year.

Book Club Passes

Quarterly Cycle Pass — €75
Join the complete three-month Reading Cycle from start to finish.
Includes six in-person Book Club evenings (two per month) and ongoing access to our Book Club community space, where members share insights and reflections between sessions.

Monthly Pass — €30 (limited availability)
For those curious to experience one month of the Book Club before committing to the full cycle.
Available only at the start of each new Reading Cycle.
